Our Mentors
Potential mentors are interviewed and carefully screened, must pass a
background check, and fulfill any additional school district background
check requirements.
All mentors are required to attend a mentor orientation and receive ongoing
feedback and training from Dreamweaver staff before and after every
weekly session.
The group mentoring model allows our staff to monitor and evaluate the
mentor’s interactions with students. All mentors are mandated reporters
and work directly with the school partner to address any safety concerns
that may arise.
